Chick-fil-A Coming to Akron-Canton Airport in 2026

If you regularly fly out of Akron-Canton Airport, there’s a familiar new dining option on the way.

Chick-fil-A is officially coming to Akron-Canton Airport (CAK), with construction already underway and an opening planned for early November 2026.

There is one important detail to know: the new Chick-fil-A will be located past the airport security checkpoint, meaning it will only be accessible to ticketed passengers.

Part of Bigger Changes at CAK

The Chick-fil-A addition is part of several food and beverage updates happening at Akron-Canton Airport.

CAK is also renovating its Great Lakes Brewing Company location and making additional changes to dining options throughout the terminal.

The improvements come as the airport continues to see increased passenger traffic. According to recent reporting from the Canton Repository, passenger traffic at CAK has been up significantly compared with last year, with the airport on pace to serve approximately one million passengers in 2026.

When Will Chick-fil-A Open at Akron-Canton Airport?

The airport is targeting early November 2026 for the new Chick-fil-A to open.

With CAK located right here in Green and convenient to communities throughout Stark and Summit counties, the addition gives local travelers another dining option before heading to their gates.

And yes — unfortunately, you’ll need a plane ticket if you’re craving Chick-fil-A from this particular location!
